## Tooling preference

Prefer Go over bash for any non-trivial tooling — dev scripts, codegen, data wrangling, test harnesses.
Bash is acceptable only for simple one-liners or thin wrappers (e.g. `docker build` scripts)
where a Go binary would be absurd overhead.
